Description:
It appears as a light ring in the base material around drill holes. In most of the cases this is a mechanically caused damage to the woven material (delamination, destruction in drill hole). Haloing is acceptable if there are no conductors close to the hole.
Causes/Remedy:
- mechanical fatigue cracking through drilling, milling
